FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

I FEEL EMBARRASSED. WHY SHOULD I CHOOSE EROS?

You're not alone. 43% of women at some point in their life report lack of interest in sex, inability to achieve orgasm, performance anxiety, experiencing pain during sex, trouble lubricating, or overall lack of sexual satisfaction. (Laumann E, et al. Sexual Dysfunction in the United States, Prevalence and Predictors: Journal of American Medicine)

Thousands of these women have chosen Eros to get back in control of their body's sexual responses. Eros increases clitoral and genital blood flow, which improves sexual pleasure and leads to increased genital sensation, vaginal lubrication, and ability to achieve orgasm.

This is an opportunity for you to start reconditioning your body's response. You are seeking a solution that can help you feel empowered and back in control of your sexual response, and that's a good thing!

WHAT IS THE EROS DEVICE?

The Eros is a small, hand-held device fitted with a small removable silicone cup. By applying a gentle vacuum, the clitoris becomes engorged (filled with blood) which leads to greater genital sensitivity, increased ability to achieve orgasm, increased vaginal lubrication, and overall improvement in sexual satisfaction.

WHAT HAVE THE CLINICAL STUDIES SHOWN AS BENEFITS?

  1. Increased clitoral and genital blood flow, leading to improved genital sensation

  2. Improved vaginal lubrication

  3. Improved ability to achieve orgasm

  4. Increased overall sexual satisfaction

In one clinical trial, 90% of women with female sexual dysfunction (FSD) reported an increase in genital sensation and 80% reported increased sexual satisfaction.

WHAT ARE PHYSICIANS SAYING ABOUT EROS?

"My patients have been extremely satisfied. I have seen Eros improve women’s frequency of and satisfaction with orgasm. It has improved arousal and increased genital sensitivity. Essentially women come back to me saying it has enhanced their satisfaction with sex.”

HOW OFTEN SHOULD I USE THE EROS THERAPY DEVICE?

The Eros can be used every day. You may notice a difference immediately, but many women may need to use the Eros Therapy Device for 4 to 6 weeks before realizing a difference in their sexual satisfaction. We recommend you use the Eros 3-4 times per week, as a tissue conditioning routine.

CAN I INVOLVE MY PARTNER WHEN I USE MY EROS DEVICE, LIKE DURING INTERCOURSE?

You can choose to use the device alone, with your partner as part of foreplay, or alternate between the two. You decide when and how you use the Eros Device.

At first, it may feel strange to use a device. However, with time, it will become second nature. If you feel hesitant or scared at first, don’t worry. It may help to talk about your feelings with your partner.

CAN I USE EROS ALONE?

Yes. The device comes with extension tubing, which modifies the distance between the device and the CAREss cup, making it even easier to use the Eros device.

IS THERE ANY GUARANTEE THAT EROS WILL WORK FOR ME?

The Eros device has gone through research and clinical studies that have shown significant effectiveness, however, there is no guarantee that it will work for everyone.

HOW DOES THE EROS DEVICE DIFFER FROM A VIBRATOR?

Vibrators are sex-aids used for sexual and sensual stimulation to the female genitalia; however, they do not improve blood flow or lubrication. Many women in clinical studies failed self-stimulation and vibrator usage but had good clinical results with Eros to improve sensation and lubrication.

IS EROS THERAPY SAFE?

There are no known side effects when used as directed.

However it is important to note the following precautions:

  • You may be injured if you place Eros over a wound. A rash, rub mark or skin irritation may occur from overuse or misplacement of the cup.

  • Misuse of Eros Therapy may make some already existing medical conditions worse, resulting in the swelling of the clitoris and/or result in serious permanent clitoral injury.

  • There is potential for risk of bruising, hematoma, pain or permanent injury when using the device. However, in clinical studies these events did not occur.

  • Do not use alcohol or drugs while using the Eros device.

  • Do not fall asleep with the device activated against her body.

  • The Eros device is not a contraceptive/birth control.

  • The device should not be used with oil-based lubricants, or used in or near water.

  • Use the lowest setting necessary to achieve engorgement and should stop using the device if continued pain occurs.
